The Letting Process

We like to keep the process as simple for Tenants as possible.

If you have previously rented a property you will know that it can be a daunting experience. You may be new to the process so here at ASK Property we aim to keep things as transparent as possible so have compiled a list of what will happen from the start.

Viewing
Simply arrange a viewing to see if you like the property.
Application Form
This form gives our team all of the information that we require to proceed with your referencing. (Please see More Help section below)
Sit Back And Relax
We will take care of it from here but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions in this time period.
Move In Date
Once we have conducted your checks and referencing we will be in touch to arrange a move in date
(We will require the Deposit and months rent upfront at this point)

Documents and paperwork required.

We will require:

3 Months pay slips from each adult tenant
3 Months Bank Statements from each tenant
Photographic Identification from each tenant (This is for the purposes of the Right to rent checks- Please click HERE for further information on Right to Rent Checking.)
We will meet you at the property on move in day at a time to suit you and fill out all of the legal paperwork, answer any questions that you may have so that you fully understand what is happening and being said, show you around the property so you know where all of the isolation points for the gas, electricity and water are, show you how the boiler controls work for example and test the smoke alarms.
